Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice is an Illinois Not-for-Profit Corporation, incorporated in 1990. We have Section 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Code. Since the mid 1990s we have been an affiliate of the Chicago Area Unitarian Universalist Council. Since our inception we have been an all-volunteer organization.
Our Mission
is to facilitate Unitarian Universalists and their friends in working together throughout the Chicago area on behalf of social justice and a better society. Our efforts include education, direct service and advocacy.
